I started coaching because I believe that life experience and relatability can form a strong connection on the path to recovery. I have been in your shoes before and can provide a unique perspective since I have been there and recovered myself. As a coach, I will be there for you every step of the way. I understand that recovery comes with many challenges and I will be by your side through them all providing extra support for you and collaborating with your treatment team to build a strong foundation for you to recover. I believe wholeheartedly that recovery is possible. I want to meet you where you’re at, support you through tough times, and celebrate your successes!
When we first start working together, I will collaborate with your treatment team to see where I can support you better. We will meet and discuss your goals, things you are currently struggling with and what you hope to get out of coaching. My approach is to meet everyone where they are at, without judgment, and with empathy and understanding. During our sessions, I will provide unwavering support and guidance. Sessions are individualized and geared to meet your needs. Some sessions may be talking through a tough time, reviewing goals and assignments, or even eating a meal together. Whatever you need, I will be there, as your coach, cheering you on.
One of my favorite things about coaching is the wide range of things I get to do with each client. From eating meals together, challenging thoughts, working through behaviors, and creating individual assignments, each client is different and that’s what I love! I have worked in all levels of care and with people in different spots in recovery. My specialty is creating behavior based goals, breaking eating disorder patterns, and allowing you the space and time to really grow and commit to recovery.
